Hells Canyon Sturgeon Fishing
Hells Canyon Sturgeon Fishing
We update our Hells Canyon Sturgeon Fishing Reports every week. Our Hells Canyon specialist, Tom Bullock is dialed into where the big ones live. Each month, the fishing changes with adjusting water flows and temperatures. Because the Hells Canyon is dammed, it’s most important to remain diverse in strategy.
Latest Report
Sturgeon fishing in the Hells Canyon area has been decent this month with a few 8 and 9 foot fish landed. Water temperatures are still on the warmer side but the cooler nights are on the way. The fall weather plays a big part in the sturgeon activity. Tom and our Ohio anglers managed to land a 8’2 and 8’3 with a few shakers to the boat. Each day the fishing will continue to pick up!
Beautiful Hells Canyon Scenery
The Hells Canyon scenery is beautiful within its self and combined with a fish that can live up to 100 years old and weigh in the 300 pound range, makes for a great adventure. It won’t be long before the fish start to get a little more active in their feeding habits and fishing get really good. We can combine the trip with some salmon and steelhead in the very same waters which is super unique and a cool bucket list trip. We have near by lodging and Lisa will be happy to help you set that up. Call our office (208) 503-3878 to speak with Lisa about further information. With all our trips we supply the bait and tackle and cook our anglers a hot BBQ lunch.
